Cello

The Montana Cellist (Jesse Ahmann) composes calming soundscapes that listeners adore. Our cello voice for the evening will be tuned to 417 Hz – this is the beautiful Solfeggio Frequency. It’s been said to bring healing and balance to the sacral chakra. Many believe that this frequency can inspire change, neutralize negative emotions, and tempt delicious sleep.

Gentle Yoga

Sarah Rusank will guide you through a gentle Forrest Yoga inspired practice. Forrest Yoga encourages students to feel and breathe into their bodies. Expect to give particular care and attention to your neck and shoulders while slowing down, moving fluidly and settling tension. Meditation, pranayama breathing and an extra long savasana will be woven into this richly relaxing session.

About Cacao

Chocolate has been consumed for 1000s of years as confection, aphrodisiac, and folk medicine. Now science is proving potential health benefiting effects such as post workout recovery, the reduction of oxidative stress and cardiovascular wellness.

The Theobroma Cacao tree is where chocolate comes from. However, modern chocolate loses much of its potential health benefits when it’s roasted and processed.

Cacao (pronounced “cu-COW”) is the raw, whole food form of chocolate. In this raw and unadulterated state, cacao offers us health benefiting nutrients and naturally occurring chemicals that create temporarily euphoric effects in the body.

A few of this plant’s precious gifts…

Cacao increases Nitric Oxide production which improves blood flow, reduces blood pressure, helps to relax the arteries and increases muscle mass.

Cacao contains Anandamide, which is termed “the bliss molecule”. It’s been associated with improving motivation and increasing pleasure.

Cacao helps the bifidobacteria in your gut to multiply creating an anti-inflammatory response which eases pain and healing.

Cacao contains Polyphenols which are known to decrease oxidative stress that can occur as a result of intensive physical activity.
