Kundalini Radiant Body Practice and Gong Meditation

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan® is called the Yoga of Awareness. It is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you an experience of your soul.

In Kundalini Yoga we harness the mental, physical, and nervous energies of the body and put them under the domain of the will, which is the instrument of the soul. This technology precisely and consciously combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purifiy the blood. It brings balance to the body, mind, and soul.

We will be sharing a Kundalini Kriya that will focus on one of the 10 light bodies, the Radiant Body. The 10th body is the Radiant Body and refers to a field of energy that extends 9 feet around us. Energy comes into the body through the crown chakra, goes up and down the spine picking up speed and then extends and builds up the Radiant Body. Some refer to the Radiant Body as a band that sits on top of the aura, almost like a golden tip or energy field.

We will end the experience with a 20 Gong bath to help you integrate the energy. The sound of the Gong is potent, an ancient healing practice intended to work the body/mind on a cellular level. We will allow for 5-10 minutes of silence for you to transition back before making your way home!
