Join Jyoti Simodhi and Aiko Terao for an all levels partner yoga flow,
chocolate meditation, live music Kirtan and gong bath.
Partner yoga allows for a much deeper opening than individual practice. This
is done to warm, loosen and create deeper connection to your body, your
partner and to prepare you for the following meditations (About one hour).
Then you will participate in a chocolate meditation YUM! This a sensory
heightening experience with local vegan truffles (30-40 min).
Afterwards we will take a short break to prepare for the Kirtan.
What is Kirtan? It is live music with chanting/singing the many names of God
and Goddess from the East Indian Folk Music Tradition. It is also called
Bhakti Yoga and Nada Yoga, or the Yoga of Devotion and Sound. It is not only
music but also a form of active meditation where using your voice and breath
you begin to enter into states of deep bliss and transcendence (30-40min).
We will conclude this connective blissful experience with a Gong Bath Sound
Healing that helps cleanse out unwanted subconscious impressions to allow
for deep healing.
If you don’t have a partner no worries! You will be paired up with another
$35 per person or $69 per couple. Space is limited to only 25 people.
This will be held at The Spokane Yoga Shala, Sunday February 11th 1-4:30pm.
Please register early as there is only room for 26 people, or 13 couples.
Meet your instructors Jyoti and Aiko!
