The Whole Back with Katie Cooley, MS
Offered four times a year, this all-levels workshop addresses pain felt
as stiffness, lack of mobility and fatigue.
The first half will provide background on concepts used in mindfulness in
the body, trauma-sensitive yoga and somatics.
The middle will be a whole body somatic sequence developed to release
commonly linked contracted muscles that lead to neck, back and hip pain.
The last half of the class will move into more dynamic movement work with
yoga postures to access strength awareness and enhance natural movements
such as walking and running and other activities essential for daily life.
