Sacred Chants and Kirtan

Learn about this ancient devotional practice and participate in a Kirtan. Kirtan is a very simple & powerful way to meditate, it is a form of Bhakti yoga. It’s effortless & joyful; the music does the work for you as you flow with the melody & rhythm. The performers & the concert-goers create the experience together.

The chants are sung in Sanskrit (ancient Vedic) and Gurmukhi (from the Guru’s mouth). The ancient chants contain powerful renewing & transformative energy that help us reconnect with the Divinity, the Life Force that resides within each of us.

Singing is the heart of kirtan, sing from the heart and the sound always resonates beautifully. You do not need to be a professional singer, if you can make sound, you can chant! At a kirtan concert all voices merge together to become One Harmonious Sound.

“Kirtan is a means of finding our way back to the core of our Being, to our heart, and to our connection with each other.” ~Ragani
