Lisa took her first yoga class in 2008 at the YMCA looking for an additional workout, but she discovered yoga was more than just a workout. Yoga quieted her mind, released stress and tension in her body and allowed her to turn inward. It was an hour of peace and reflection.
After receiving many nudges and signs from the universe, she resisted because she was an introvert, she bravely enrolled in a training program at Harmony Yoga and received her 200 RYT certification in 2015.
Lisa enjoys practicing and teaching a variety of yoga styles, Vinyasa, Mindful Body, Power, and Gentle. She helps students cultivate awareness of the body, breath, and mind, in order to create stillness to connect and open to their heart and true self.
