WORKHOP: WHAT IS KIRTAN?
Tuesday, July 17
7:30 – 9:00 pm
Kirtan is a very simple & powerful way to meditate. It’s effortless & joyful; the music does the work for you as you flow with the melody & rhythm. The performers & the concert-goers create the experience together. The chants are sung in Sanskrit unless you attend a Sikh kirtan ( e.g. Snatam Kaur). The ancient chants contain powerful renewing & transformative energy that helps us reconnect with the Divinity that resides within all of us. Singing is the heart of kirtan, and no one cares what you sound like. At a kirtan concert all voices merge together to become One Voice. “Kirtan is a means of finding our way back to the core of our Being, to our heart, and to our connection with each other.” Ragani

EVENT: SHAMANIC JOURNEY
Sunday, July 29
5:00 – 7:00 pm
Connect with your guides and higher self through the powerful practice of journey work. Shamanic journey is an ancient and universal spiritual practice that takes us into the realm of our subconscious to receive information that furthers our growth and deepens our self-awareness.
We can use this tool of active imagination to gain clarity and focus, to heal ancestral wounds, to come into deeper relationship with ourselves.
We journey to discover more about who we are, where we’ve been and where we’re going. In a journey, we can connect with our spirit guides, ancestors, and/or higher self to receive a message to assist us in our lives.
Participants in the past have reported feeling nurtured, more connected to the earth, themselves, and humanity, more aware of their needs and more focused on the way forward.
